Ranked as one of the top five theatre programs in the country, the School of Drama produces at least seven shows per year in one of four theatres - Meany Studio , Penthouse, Playhouse and Studio 201 (Hutchinson Hall).

The UW Dance Program’s four annual concerts showcase the artistry and scholarship at the heart of the program’s mission to educate the next generation of cultural leaders, performers and arts advocates.

We offer more than 60 concerts annually by faculty and guest artists and student ensembles in Meany Theater, Meany Studio Theatre, Brechemin Auditorium, and Kane Hall.

Internationally acclaimed artists perform in Meany Hall in four series: UW World Dance, UW World Music & Theatre, President’s Piano and International Chamber Music Series.

The DXARTS program embraces an expansive range of artistic creation and research across multiple disciplines. Performances occur in Fall and Spring quarters at Meany Theatre.

From lecture events by renowned speakers to performances by Seattle arts organizations, Meany Hall provides a welcoming rental venue for many community and on-campus programs.
