Duties/Responsibilities:This position is an integral part of a three-person finance team in Meany Hall Operations and is responsible for entering information into QuickBooks, Meany Hall’s internal accrual-basis accounting system which shadows the university’s cash-basis financial system. Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining the integrity of the internal accounting system and in producing related reports. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and a thorough understanding of debits and credits as used in a double-entry bookkeeping system is required. Also important is a high degree of accuracy and the ability to analyze and reconcile a significant volume of data. The Accountant reports to the Director of Finance.

STAGE TECHNICIAN-Temporary

Positions available September 2009 – June 2010

Duties/Responsibilities: Meany Hall is a performing arts center with a full-time stage staff. Every year it is necessary to supplement our staff with temporary stage technicians (stage carpenters, stage electricians, stage audio technicians) on a show by show basis.

Minimum Qualifications: At least three years employment in the industry or an accredited technical theatre program.
