Hugo Wolf Quartet
“Generating a lot of buzz… a bold and gripping performance.” The Washington Post
Founded at the Vienna University of Music, the Hugo Wolf Quartet has been performing for more than 10 years now. Their touring schedule regularly takes them to the great concert halls and festivals of Europe, South America, Mexico, the United States and Japan. For their 10th anniversary, the Quartet established its own cycle at the Konzerthaus in Vienna. The Quartet’s repertoire spans across the two Viennese Schools, and they have recently ventured into adding Kenny Wheeler jazz compositions to their programs. Join us for the Meany Hall debut of this electrifying ensemble.
